INSINCERE STILL MINE

Three-piece London band Insincere have dropped a new single and visualiser in the form of ‘Still Mine’. It’s a deeply emotional track that leans into its hazy timbre. The layered vocals are distant and melodic, with woozy synth sounds creating a wash of texture beneath. Electronic drums crunch beneath the track’s hip-hop-inspired moments, while the animated visualiser really nails the vibe of the track. “The sound wallows in an ethereal sadness split by colossal moments that overwhelm, just like a break up,” the band explain. “This contrast of sound is complimented in its lyrical perspectives. While Grace expresses contentment that the relationship is over, I wished she was still mine. And she is.” Their previous single, ‘Angels Don’t Fuck’, was a viral hit, and turned millions of people towards this exciting new band. -Dan Peeke.
